What we’re looking for

AmeriCorps members work directly with SAFE clients to access critical community resources and become self-sufficient.

Members serve approximately 40 hours per week, generally 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Duties include assisting with existing case management services by providing more intensive support and life skills training to address specific housing, employment, and personal stability barriers. In short, you’ll be helping clients make significant, lasting changes for themselves and their families.

AmeriCorps members assess client needs, develop action plans to meet goals, and provide guidance every step of the way. Additionally, members educate the community on issues related to homelessness, leveraging the support of community volunteers.
