Austin Children’s Shelter Group and Special Event Volunteering

Austin Children’s Shelter Guild Member

The Austin Children’s Shelter Guild is a membership-based volunteer group that provides multiple opportunities each month to volunteer — both indirectly and directly — with our kids. For more information, click here.

Community Group Volunteers

Community Group Volunteers can host activities onsite for our kids as well as sponsor offsite activities. Groups can also volunteer indirectly by participating in a facilities-related project. Download the information packet for details.

Touch-A-Truck is a family friendly event that benefits SAFE programs on the Austin Children’s Shelter campus. This event hosts a wide variety of vehicles for kids of all ages to play on while learning about the automobiles and how they help serve their communities. This year’s Touch-A-Truck will also feature live music, plenty of food trucks, and a Kid Zone complete with a petting zoo, face painting, barrel-train rides and much more. We need your help in making this event successful by assisting with admission, parking, keeping the area clean, and selling merchandise. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old. Click here to sign up, or email [email protected] for more information.
