Modeling more than fashion at A Day to ShineWritten by The SAFE Alliance
Where can you go to enjoy a fashion show and an inspirational speech by one of the most influential sports educators in America? Join us April 1 at A Day to Shine!
Benefiting SAFE’s Expect Respect program, this annual event features a fashion show by Girls Energized Towards Making a Difference (GETMAD), a service club of students from Westlake High School. Throughout the year, GETMAD participates in monthly meetings and service projects, volunteering together around Austin.
They also model in A Day to Shine, a gala and fashion show promoting healthy relationships and raising money for Expect Respect.
This year, we are excited to welcome the return of Joe Ehrmann, former professional NFL player, coach, and author of “Inside Out Coaching.” In addition to the renowned speaker, we will honor Sheriff Greg Hamilton and his wife, Maize, with the 2017 LifeStyle Award.
For tickets to the afternoon session for youth and the evening gala, please visit the A Day to Shine info page or contact Kimberly Gifford, SAFE Director of Development, at firstname.lastname@example.org, 512.577.4149.
