1 month, 2 fundraisers, more than $375K raised for survivorsWritten by The SAFE Alliance
Thanks to the support of our community, our annual Celebration luncheon and Touch-A-Truck events were both smashing successes! We’re thrilled to announce that the two events raised a combined $375,000 — funds that directly support the children, adults, and families at SAFE.
On May 3, we hosted 350 guests at the J.W. Marriot for our annual Celebration luncheon. The amazing Christine Albert shared her powerful story and performed her music.

Thanks to our generous supporters and sponsors, this year’s Celebration raised over $250,000! All of these funds will go on to support the individuals and families on our SAFE Family Shelter campus by providing housing, healing, and support services as well as prevention and community services.
This past Saturday, May 12 we hosted our annual Touch-A-Truck event at Camp Mabry. Touch-A-Truck is always a honkin’ good time! We had thousands of kiddos and their families out for a fun day of beeping horns, meeting Mater from the “Cars” movies, as well as climbing on all sorts of trucks.

This year Touch-A-Truck raised over $125,000, which supports our programs to promote happy, healthy, and safe families.
We are so grateful for the community’s support of our fundraising events! We absolutely could not do the work that we do without our generous supporters!
