Chief Development Officer
Jayden Beatty is an accomplished nonprofit executive and fundraising leader with more than a decade of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic philanthropy, organizational leadership, and community engagement. She has led the completion of a $10 million capital campaign, launched planned giving and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, and secured multi-million-dollar gifts, including six-figure contributions from corporate and individual donors and seven-figure foundation grants.
Jayden’s expertise spans major gifts, development strategy, donor engagement, communications, board relations, and team leadership. She has held senior fundraising and leadership roles for organizations including AGE of Central Texas, and served as the inaugural Executive Director of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Greater Austin Chapter, where she trained nonprofit fundraisers and partnered with donors to strengthen Austin’s culture of philanthropy.
Jayden is drawn to SAFE’s comprehensive model of care — from immediate crisis intervention to prevention and long-term stability — because she understands that addressing abuse is a systemic act with the power to create lasting change across many areas of community health and wellbeing. She has spent her career helping communities understand that long-term generosity is the only way to solve long-term challenges, and she comes to SAFE with a deep commitment to building the kind of sustainable philanthropic investment that allows SAFE to keep showing up for survivors.
At SAFE, Jayden’s experience in strategic communications and fundraising helps our community understand who we are, why our work is critical to public safety and the health of Central Texas, and how to get involved — so that more survivors can find the help they deserve.
Jayden holds a degree in Political Science from Southwestern University and lives in Buda with her dog, Penny. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching Bravo, and spending time with friends and family.
