Heather Henry

Senior Director of Development

Heather is a fiercely optimistic nonprofit fundraiser and her work is centered on the belief that all of our problems are solvable. As a Senior Director of Development at SAFE her focus is on engaging with community members and individuals who believe in SAFE’s mission and want to have a greater impact in their community. She helps to educate, advocate, and connect people with projects and programs to support survivors of abuse.

At SAFE, Heather oversees the Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, and Events fundraising programs that work to annually raise funds and drive revenue to support SAFE’s highest priority needs and opportunities. Her passion in her work is to create meaningful relationships with people who want to make a difference, and to help build sustainable funding solutions for complex community issues.

A loyal Longhorn, she holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been a member of SAFE’s Development Team since 2017.
