The SAFE Charter School may provide educational services to students in K–12 who are living, or previously lived, in a SAFE residential program. Partnering with the University of Texas Charter system, the school provides educational and behavioral support services in an environment that promotes safety and healing for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and child abuse.
SAFE’s Charter School offers a full curriculum that meets Texas standards, employs science-based research and best teaching practices, and draws upon a variety of resources available at the University of Texas, all while providing a trauma-responsive educational alternative for children and families. SAFE’s Charter School also offers credit recovery courses that provide high school credits.
