Educational theater offers youth opportunities

Changing Lives Youth Theatre Ensemble

A collaboration with Creative Action, the Changing Lives Youth Theatre Ensemble will tour its original play, “Level Up: An Epic Relationship Adventure,” to middle schools throughout the Austin area this spring.

The play explores how challenges in families complicate dating and peer relationships. Ultimately the characters discover the powers of agency, community and assertive communication to strengthen all of their relationships.

Locations include Webb, Covington, Bedichek, Gus Garcia, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Manor, Pflugerville, Dessau, and Del Valle.

Where’s Your Line?

Where’s Your Line? is recruiting actor-facilitator interns for the fall 2017 semester. An educational theater program for high school students, Where’s Your Line? is seeking college-age youth interested in prevention education, social work, applied theater, or social justice. No previous acting experience necessary.
