Help: Survey for SAFEline Users
Written by Piper Stege NelsonYOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT!
We are excited to announce that The SAFE Alliance is partnering with the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) on a research project to evaluate the SAFEline program.
If you have ever used SAFEline, please consider sharing your experiences and ideas with researchers! SAFEline is a call/chat/text line based at The SAFE Alliance that provides assistance to individuals wanting to talk about their experiences with violence and abuse.
As part of that study, we would like to hear about your experience using this service by completing a brief survey. This study has been approved by The University of Texas at Austin Institutional Review Board. This will take no more than 5 minutes of your time. You will be eligible to enroll in a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card in exchange for your time.
Your participation is completely voluntary and confidential. It will not affect your relationship with SAFE or any services you may be receiving. Identifying information will not be recorded by the research team. Your responses may be used for future research and shared with other researchers in the field but no identifying information will be shared. All interviews will be conducted via phone or video conference.
If you have questions and/or want to sign up, please contact the researcher directly: Dixie Hairston by email at dahairst@UTMB.EDU.
