Written by SAFE
This year’s Storybook Gala raised nearly $1.2 million for the SAFE Children’s Shelter! We owe it all to our generous community!
It’s like we’re still dreaming — fitting considering the theme of the Nov. 10 gala was A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Take a look at a few highlights from the night and check out the full gallery below!
A special thank you to our gala co-chairs, Michelle Long Held and Cindy Klatt, for putting everything together. From face painters to fairies, no detail was overlooked to create a night to remember.
It was our pleasure to recognize Gretchen and Bob Ellis as this year’s Guardian Award recipients for their hard work and dedication to SAFE as well as our legacy organizations.
We’d like to thank our speaker Victoria Gonzales for sharing her story of survival.
And a big thank you to the Adderley School for sharing your talent and entertaining us with an amazing performance.
