SAFE’s Foster and Adopt Program provides foster care, adoption services and kinship care to families in Central Texas. With extensive training and an experienced staff, SAFE has developed a program that offers superior supports for foster, kinship, and adoptive families. We use a trauma-informed, trust–based curriculum that helps create a healing and therapeutic environment for the children and youth we serve. The goal is to create and support placements that will last. SAFE helps your family thrive by utilizing:
- Pre-placement and on-going training
- 24-hour on-call support for families
- Enhanced, reliable access to respite care
- Access to on-site medical and therapeutic staff
- Team support to help meet children’s individual needs
Orientations are held monthly on the Austin Children’s Shelter campus at 4800 Manor Road, Building A, Austin, TX 78723 from 6 – 8 p.m. Please RSVP using this form.
