SafePlace A Program of SAFESAFE utilizes the SafePlace Campus to provide housing, healing, and support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, and sexual assault and exploitation through prevention and intervention services. In addition, the organization promotes safe and healthy relationships, increasing the capacity for abuse prevention in Central Texas.

Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace recently merged to form The SAFE Alliance; you can read more about the merger here. As part of the combined SAFE mission, our staff work with community partners to create change in attitudes, behaviors and policies that perpetuate the acceptance of, and impact our understanding and responses to, sexual and domestic violence.
